From Hard Times to a New Chapter
I grew up in a tough home with my mom working multiple jobs to raise four kids. Life didn’t get easier as an adult. Dead-end jobs, broken business partnerships, and the heavy weight of family responsibilities left me feeling stuck for years.
High taxes, the high cost of living in Canada, and the long cold winters made every day feel like a grind. I spent over 20 years dreaming of something better while life kept pulling me down.
The Feeling I Never Forgot
Twenty years ago in Florida, a friend loaned me his Harley. Riding up the coast with no helmet, the warm wind on my face and open roads ahead — that week I experienced true freedom for the first time in my life. That powerful feeling has stayed with me ever since.
Florida isn’t just another state. It’s daily sunshine, riding motorcycles all year long, long beach walks with the dogs, and the relaxed pace I’ve been craving for so long. It represents the fresh start I know I need before it’s too late.
I should have made the move years ago, but fear and responsibilities kept holding me back. Now I’m done waiting.
